Navan

A palindromic town.  Navan is the 5th-largest town in Ireland. It is built on the confluence of the Blackwater and Boyne rivers. It is famous for being the birthplace of Francis Beaufort who invented the Beaufort scale, a scale measuring wind force that is used to this day. Navan was a walled town in medieval times, and like Trim it was an outpost of The Pale.
