About Me

I live in a very beautiful and scenic part of Ireland – The Boyne Valley, in county Meath. It is steeped in history and culture. Most of my work, but not all, is shot near or around the river Boyne that meanders through Meath. My landscape photographs are my interpretation of the beauty of Ireland that surrounds me. The places I photograph are very well documented by many photographers, but we all see things differently.  I try to portray and evoke mood and emotion in my pictures using light and shadow.

The Irish weather...the bane of most Irish people's lives is what makes the Irish landscape the unique and wonderful feast for the senses that it is. The seasons and the light contribute to the ever changing beauty of this ancient country and that is why I will never tire of photographing it.

Caroline Quinn Fine Art Photography is a marriage of two of my passions – Photographing the Irish Landscape and interiors.  I love nothing more than to see my photographs printed and hanging in people’s homes as contemporary Irish landscape art.

As well and landscapes I am also a portrait photographer. I specialise in newborn, baby and family portraiture.  If you would like to take a look at that area of my work you will find it here... www.carolinequinn.ie
